How To Prepare?

We know we sound like your mum now but seriously, you’ll thank us when you see Portugal’s cobbled pavements. They may be pretty but they’re a nightmare to walk on with heels.
- Electrical adaptors Portugal uses standard European round two-pin plugs on electrical items which are 220-240V so bring electrical adapters with you if applicable.
-Ear plugs and eye masks for light sleepers.
-Travel kettle
If you’re used to having tea and coffee making facilities in your hotel room, you should double-check whether your accommodation in Portugal supplies them.
-Swimming cap and flip-flops
If you plan to use a hotel’s indoor pool or their spa facilities, they will probably insist you use a swimming cap and flip-flops (chinelos).

Itinerary

Day 1 - Say Hello To Lisboa!

Today we arrive in the glorious capital of Portugal - Lisbon! Upon arrival, our driver will meet us and takes us to our downtown hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for us to relax or start exploring the abundant heritage left here almost intact from one of the world's greatest kingdoms in history!

Day 2 - Highlights Of Lisbon & Fado Performance

After breakfast, we will meet our guide and enjoy a panoramic walking sightseeing tour of Lisbon.

During the tour, you see the most famous attractions, including Restauradores Square with the Obelisk commemorating the Restoration of Portugal’s independence from Spain in 1640.

Will take a funicular up to the Bairro Alto and admire the view of the Mouraria district and the Sao Jorge Castle, the charming neighborhood of Chiado abundant in old cafés, shops, and theaters.

Then we proceed to Baixa including Rossio Square, where we will learn how the city was destroyed in 1755 by a massive earthquake, and then totally rebuilt to become the city of today.

Continue to Alfama Lisbon’s oldest district to admire Se Cathedral - the city’s oldest church and Commerce Square. After the tour, we will return to our hotel and have some time to rest before going to the Fado Show with dinner.

Day 3 - Trip To Sintra & Visit To The Belem Quarter

Following breakfast we will meet our driver-guide and start your journey on an exciting day-trip to one of Portugal's most beautiful destinations - Sintra, that is famous for its fairy-tale castles and beautiful scenery. Upon arrival you visit the fairytale Pena Palace with a round trip shuttle bus (up to the Pena Palace).

After the tour you are transferred back to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 4 - Arrival To Porto & Port Wine Tasting

In the morning following breakfast, we will check-out from your hotel and meet our guide and driver. we will go to the train station where you take a train to Porto - the romantic second-largest city in Portugal (train tickets are included).

In about three hours we will arrive in the city, where our guide meets you at the train station in Porto. transferred to our hotel to drop off our luggage and together with our guide you start a welcome walking tour from Palacio da Bolsa to Luis I Bridge. As a highlight of your introduction to Porto we will walk to a winery for port wine tasting.

Day 5 - Beach Day!

Go from downtown Porto all the way to the beach via tuk-tuk, passing through enchanting places like the left bank of the Douro, São Pedro de Afurada, and the Marina.

Day 6 - Douro Valley Tour With Wine Tasting, Cruise And Lunch

Be transported from Porto to the majestic Douro Valley. Join a guided tour of 2 vineyards, and sample Port wine. Enjoy a traditional Portuguese lunch, and relax on a scenic river cruise.
