After your morning breakfast at your stay, Head to Explore Auroville 

One of our favorite activities to do in Auroville is to walk on the beach.
The Auroville beach is a stunning golden and black beach, and you will fall in love with it. This serene beach captured your heart on the very first day. With the soft crashing waves, the little rocks, and the entire sea in front of you, you have ample time to sit and introspect. The beach is quiet and away from the hustle-bustle.
It is quite a beautiful feeling to just walk or sit in isolation with only the waves to keep you company.

After spending your morning/Afternoon on the beach, explore the town on Bicycle 

Rent a cycle and explore the town as you please. It is quite thrilling to zip through green forests and brush past valleys of flowers, as the wind hits your face. 

After all the cycling you must be Hungry, Stop at Auroville Bakery and Boulangerie it's one of the most popular bakeries in town.

All of their products are made from the local produce from the farms. Besides the delicious products, the cafe also has wonderful seating outdoors amidst a gorgeous garden.

Head back to your stay.

Head to centres like Quiet Healing Centre, Pitanga and Arka are open to all visitors where you can meditate and find peace. When you are in Auroville, you should definitely participate and have an experience that will stay with you for a lifetime.

Quiet Healing Centre, also known as Auroville's Health Spa offers a variety of services to its visitors including spas, massages, and other healing therapies which can help you relax and rejuvenate. Moreover, the centre is situated on the beach, has a perfect ambiance and helps you relax your mind like no place else.

The giant Ferrero rocher-like building that the township is built around, is an experience in itself – and one of the main attractions of Auroville. It’s a bit like being in a spaceship-themed on the color white. The ceiling, walls, pillars, carpets, cushions, everything is white. A single ray of sunlight streams through the roof, upon a crystal that sits in the center of the meditation area. Absolutely beautiful!

You can only visit Matrimandir with a prior booking, which often gets full 2 days in advance. Registration must be done at the visitor’s center and visits only happen in a big group. a worthwhile experience!

After visiting the Matrimandir head to Le Terazza to read or write. You can buy a Wifi voucher from the Blue Light Browsing Centre next door. They serve up possibly the best iced tea, and the half and half mushroom and hummus sandwiches are delightful too. Note that you can only pay with the Auro Card here.

FOOD TOUR! Pondy is one of the best places for food lovers. Its food scene is varied, with influences from French, South Indian, European, and several other Western cuisines. And, a trip to Pondy is incomplete without trying its traditional South Indian fare and French cuisine.
