By Air:
The Chennai International Airport(MAA) is located at a distance of 7 KM from the city and this is one of the busiest airports in India. On arrival, a taxi or bus can be taken to reach the location.
By Road:
Chennai is well-connected to many major cities in India via a decent road network. Several buses ply from cities like- Bangalore, Calicut, etc. to reach Chennai. Private rental cars may also be hired.
By Train:
The two main stations in Chennai are Chennai Central Railway Station(MAS) & Chennai Egmore(MS) which connect it to the major places of the country. Regular trains run from major cities to Chennai.
How To Prepare?
SUP requires you to have a good aerobic base along with strength and flexibility.
It's a good work of legs and arms so do stretch both before you start!
When you’re out Stand-up paddling,
your legs are just as important as the rest of your body. In order to be agile
and quick on your feet, it’s essential to keep them stretched and toned.
Drink plenty of water: SUP can be
dehydrating, so it’s important to drink lots of water.
Eat healthy snacks: Bring
along some healthy snacks like fruits and nuts to keep your energy up.
Take breaks: If you’re
feeling tired, take a break. It’s better to paddle for a shorter time at a
leisurely pace than to push yourself too hard and end up exhausted.
Wear sunscreen: The sun
can be harmful, even when it’s not that hot out. Make sure to wear sunscreen to
protect your skin.
Dress appropriately: Wear
the necessary and appropriate clothes.
