If however, you are the kind of person who likes to visit offbeat destinations, spend some time in peaceful locations, have interest in photography, would like to stay away from the crowd and explore some unknown places then Jibhi will suit you just fine.

How to Reach?

By Bus - HRTC, HPDTC and many private companies have buses going from all major bus stations in Delhi, Chandigarh etc

By Train - The nearest railway station is Chandigarh which is more than 250 km away from Jibhi. You can reach Chandigarh to Jibhi by taking the train to the CHD and then continuing onwards to Aut on a bus or a private cab.

By Flight - The nearest airport is Bhuntar airport located near Kullu. It is still a good 50 km away from Jibhi. If you do choose this transportation, be wary because the Bhuntar airport has limited connectivity and may face delays/cancellations due to weather conditions in the state.

How To Prepare?

Carry a sweater, gloves, cap (protect head and ears from cold winds), thermals and a winter jacket.
Comfortable lowers for hiking (jeans not advisable) Comfortable lowers will make your journey a lot better.
Woolen socks will keep your feet warm. Weather is unpredictable in the hills, and nights can get unusually cold, hence it’s always best to be prepared.

Medicines for headache, fever, stomach ache, cold, cough syrup, and motion sickness may be required by you too.

Lip Balm: Dry and cold weather will make your lips dry, so make sure to carry a lip balm, glycerin or Vaseline.

Sunscreen lotion: SPF30 or higher.

Itinerary

Day 1 - KOTACHI VILLAGE & MINI THAILAND

KOTACHI VILLAGE 15 mins hike to Kotachi Village to start the day with a mesmerzing view to the Jibhi Valley

MINI THAILAND Natural pond formed on the path of river surrounded by lush green Himalayas. Swim enthusiastic can even go for swimming or one can simple sit in the shallow region and enjoy the sunshine.

Day 2 - JIBHI WATERFALL & GHIYAGI VILLAGE

The best way to experience the mountains is always on foot and what's best to see multiple rainbow formation near a waterfall

Giyaghi, a small village on the way to Jalori Pass. Villagers have created an artificial waterfall along with all the wooden house structure

Day 3 - JALORI PASS & SELOSAR LAKE

At an altitude of 10,282 ft above sea level Jalori is a high mountain pass on NH305.

The path to the Selosar lake is about 5 km long and should not take the average person more than 2 hours to reach from Jalori Pass. The terrain is mossy and green and traverses through several beautiful vantage points.

Day 4 - SHRINGI RISHI TEMPLE & CHEHNI FORT

Shringi Rishi is a popular deity of Inner Seraj valley and leads to the path of ancient Chehni Village.

Chehni Kothi is a 1500 years old structure and it was the fortified residence of King Raja Rana Dhadia. This temple tower is the tallest standing structure in Western Himalayas.

Day 5 - BAHU VILLAGE & BALO TEMPLE TREK

Bahu village is very offbeat village but the views ands scenery of the region is unexpectedly gorgeous.

It is believed that this temple is over 500 years old and can only be reached in a short walk from Bahu. It is located in the middle of a tranquil place inside the forest perched on the mountain amidst the deodar trees.

Day 6 - Chandigarh

Our driver will drop you at Chandigarh.
