Itinerary

Day 1 - Tour De Chapora River With Brunch

The day starts off by meeting at Chapora Beach by 7.45am.

8am: Embarking and Onboard Safety Briefing

8.15 am: Cruise through the picturesque Chapora River and coastal villages of Goa in the serene morning waters.

Eagle Island: A unique Mangrove habitat of hundreds of Eagles, native only to this region of Goa. Not only will you see them nesting on the mangroves but also basking in the sun as they perfectly camouflage themselves on the sand banks of this little eagle island.

Uninhabited Islands: Observe the changing topography of the river as the sand banks, small islands surface and submerge with the tides and season.

Pathways created by sandbanks in this gigantic river and Arabian Sea confluence give the appearance of people walking in the sea as boats cruise by.

Migratory birds: With a keen eye one can observe unique wildlife all around the dense coastal coconut trees, mangroves and river banks.

Fishing Cultures of Goa: One can observe the ancient occupation of fishing still being carried out in traditional ways of casting nets manually, fishing line on wooden canoes, crab traps, Women foraging snails, mussels, oysters off the barnacles.

9.30: Disembark on Goan coastal farm at Assnora, all the way upstream

9.30 to 10am: Activities: Walk around the coastal farm Observe the beautiful birds and nature Chill on the riverbanks enjoying the morning sun and tranquil coastal life Swimming Safety Vests Kayaking (add on charges)

10am: Brunch at the farm Enjoy some Goan fresh produce and flavors of Goan cuisine.

12noon: Disembark at Chapora Beach / Turtle Beach
