A jeep ride followed by a short walk through a 500 year old settlement (now in ruins) along the actual line of control between India and Pakistan. Visit the local community museum. There is an option of staying at a homestay as well.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Half Day To Hundurman

9:00am- Drive to Hundurman
9.30am: Guided walk in the terraced settlement of Hundarman, its history & architectural anecdotes.
10.00am: Display of artifacts which people have left behind during partition and an introduction of the unique door locking system of Hundarman.
12.00 noon: End your day with high tea served at the site with inputs and discusssions with your fellow participants.
12:30 pm: Drive back to Kargil.
