Shilt Hut is a popular trekking destination in the Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP) in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It's located at an altitude of around 3,300 meters, and can be reached after a trek of about 12-14 kilometers from the village of Ropa.

During the trek, you'll pass through dense forests, beautiful meadows, and small streams. You'll also get stunning views of the Himalayan peaks along the way.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Ropa To Rolla Camp

Start your trek from the village of Ropa and trek towards Rolla. The trek is about 12-14 kilometers long and takes around 6-7 hours to complete. During the trek, you'll pass through dense forests, beautiful meadows, and small streams. Upon reaching take some time to rest and enjoy the scenic views of the Himalayas.

Day 2 - Rolla To Shilt Hut Day

After breakfast, start your trek towards Shilt Hut. The trek is about 6-7 kilometers long and takes around 3-4 hours to complete. During the trek, you'll pass through beautiful forests and meadows.

Day 3 - Shilt To Gushaini

After breakfast, start your trek towards Gushaini. The trek is about 8-10 kilometers long and takes around 4-5 hours to complete. During the trek, you'll pass through dense forests, small villages, and scenic valleys. Upon reaching Gushaini, take some time to rest and explore the village.
