The Marahni trek is a moderate level trek that takes you through beautiful alpine forests, lush meadows, and scenic valleys. It offers stunning views of the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas and the surrounding landscape. The trek starts from the village of Gushaini, which is located at an altitude of 1500 meters and takes you to the high-altitude village of Marahni, which is situated at an elevation of around 3300 meters.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Trek Pekhri To Rangthar

The trek starts from the village of Pekhri, which is located at an altitude of 2100 meters, and takes you to the village of Rangthar, which is situated at an elevation of around 2500 meters. The trek covers a distance of approximately 5 kilometers and usually takes around 2-3 hours to complete.

During the trek, you'll pass through beautiful forests, streams, and small villages. Packed lunch will be carried for the trip.

Day 2 - Rangthar To Kundri

The trek starts from the village of Rangthar, which is situated at an altitude of around 2500 meters, and takes you to the village of Kundri, which is located at an elevation of approximately 2800 meters. The trek covers a distance of around 10 kilometers and usually takes about 5-6 hours to complete.

During the trek, you'll pass through dense forests, beautiful meadows, and small villages. The route is moderately difficult, and suitable for experienced trekkers. The trail includes steep ascents and descents, so it's important to wear appropriate trekking shoes and carry enough water and snacks.

Day 3 - Exploration Day At Marahni And Camp At Kundri

Spend the day exploring the beautiful village of Marahni and its surroundings. You can take a walk around the village, interact with the locals, and learn about their culture and traditions.

Day 4 - Kundri To Pekhri

Final day going back to the base camp Pekhri.
