How to Reach?
By Air: The nearest airport to Manali is the Kullu-Manali Airport, also known as Bhuntar Airport, which is located about 50 km away from the town. There are regular flights from major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Chandigarh to Bhuntar Airport. From the airport, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Manali.
By Road: Manali is well-connected by road to major cities like Delhi, Chandigarh, and Shimla. You can take a bus or hire a taxi to reach Manali. The distance between Delhi and Manali is around 550 km, and it takes around 12-14 hours to cover the distance by bus.
By Train: The nearest railway station to Manali is Joginder Nagar railway station, which is about 160 km away from Manali. However, it is a narrow-gauge railway station, and the trains are not very frequent. The nearest major railway station is Chandigarh railway station, which is about 310 km away from Manali. From the railway station, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Manali.

Visit Hall of Fame (Run by the Indian Army). Drive towards Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, and Indus Zanskar meeting point, and Alchi monastery. Visit Shanti Stupa and Leh palace where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset.
Magnetic Hill - a gravity hill alleged to have magnetic properties strong enough to pull cars uphill and force passing aircraft to increase their altitude in order to escape magnetic interference. In reality, the effect is an optical illusion. Popular spot on Leh-Srinagar highway.
Patthar Sahib Gurudwara - is a beautiful Gurudwara sahib constructed in the memory of Guru Nanak, built in 1517 to commemorate the visit to the Ladakh region of Guru Nanak Dev, the founder Guru of the Sikh faith.

Post Breakfast, drive to Turtuk ( Via khardugla pass) - Visit the Last Village on the Indian Border. This is one of the most fascinating journeys in Ladakh and an offbeat destination recently opened for tourists.
Turtuk, India’s northern most village, lies nearby to the line of control between India and Pakistan, and is one of the most unexplored places.
Though Buddhism is the major religion in Turtuk, it features a mixed culture influenced by the Tibetan, Indian and the Muslim way. This also explains the unique physical features of the people you’ll see here.

Drive to Pangong via Shyok valley,this region actually comprises two valleys: Nubra and Shyok. Both their rivers rise amidst the remote and heavily glaciated peaks and troughs of the Karakoram Range. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the Banks of Pangong Lake while appreciating the changing colors and fascinating high altitude of the lake.
Pangong Tso at an altitude of 14,500 ft is 4-5 kms wide and over 135 kms long, about two-third of which lies on the other side of the Indo-China LAC (Line of Actual Control). Pangong Tso was featured in the last scenes of the 2010 movie, 3 Idiots. After the success of the movie, this beautiful natural location has attracted more tourists from all over the world.
