The sport consists of using a canoe-like raft to paddle through open water and can be enjoyed by racing others or simply paddling for leisure or exercise. Located in the beautiful quiet rural surrounding. 1.5km from the centre of Mulki town itself. Wrapped around by fields and rice paddies with views to the Shambhavi River.

Just sitting and watching the water is an excellent way to unwind and forget the rest of the world, especially watching one of the magic sunsets! blessed with the most amazing aquatic playground on our doorstep.  Having the flatwater of the Shambhavi River immediately in front and then the  beach on the other side of the river.  Hence Mulki is the perfect destination to go explore kayaking!

How to Reach?

By Air: By air, Mangalore is the closest airport. You can land here and later take private/public transport to Mulki, which is some 45 minutes drive from here. 


By Train: Mulki railway station lies on the Konkan railways. If a train is not available directly until here, you can go to Mangalore and take public/private transport. 


By Bus: You can also opt for a road trip since Mulki is well-connected to Bengaluru or Goa.

How To Prepare?

Drink plenty of water: Kayaking can be dehydrating, so it’s important to drink lots of water.
Eat healthy snacks: Bring along some healthy snacks like fruits and nuts to keep your energy up.
Take breaks: If you’re feeling tired, take a break. It’s better to paddle for a shorter time at a leisurely pace than to push yourself too hard and end up exhausted.
Wear sunscreen: The sun can be harmful, even when it’s not that hot out. Make sure to wear sunscreen to protect your skin.
Dress appropriately: Kayaking can be cold, even in the summer. Make sure to dress in layers so you can adjust to the temperature.
