Meeting Point: This experience takes place at their studio which is a pretty sight hidden inside the lanes of East Delhi. You will meet our local expert when you book this experience at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (East Delhi Campus) from where you will walk (2min) to their artsy studio to immerse into this centuries old art form.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Experience Handblock Printing

Block printing is a relief printing technique that uses a carved material (typically wood, linoleum, or rubber) to transfer ink onto fabric or paper. The block serves as a stamp, with the final product resulting in a mirror image of the carving.

In this workshop, you will get to make your own paint by mixing dyes, learn to use traditional wooden blocks for printing & create your own unique fabric print. You will also get to take home your own handprinted fabric/Laptop sleev/Tote bag as a keepsake.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and enthusiasts alike, and all the materials and equipment will be provided. Come and experience the joy of creating something beautiful with your own hands while learning about a rich and vibrant art form that has been practiced for centuries.
