How To Prepare?
Should know to swim- If you want to pick up surfing as a sport, we highly recommend learning swimming first. If you want to join lessons swimming is prerequisite. You don’t need to be a professional swimmer to join a group lesson but you need to be able to swim from one side of the pool to the other confidently without touching the ground. If you can’t do that then you can ask for a private lesson.
Bring your own swimwear(whatever you'd go to the pool with)
Sunscreen so you don't completely turn into a burnt potato
Quick Dry Beach Towel
Dive in with an uncluttered mind and a positive attitude
Trust the process and leave everything else behind

Aurah is the perfect example of 'If you want something, do it yourself. We love a good power yoga session and grabbing some smoothie bowls after. If there is some music to vibe with it, even better! Where can we do this in Cochin with like-minded people was the question? To no one's surprise, we drew a blank. When a google search for a wellness retreat showed the nearest one to be 500kms away, we knew we had to make it happen ourselves. So here we are with Aurah, the Sunday Social we all deserve".

Additional Notes
As we set up the lessons according to the sea conditions we are rather strict about the timings that have been given a day prior to your lesson. If you booked for a group lesson and you’re not on time its not fair to the other students, so please be on time. A surf lesson lasts around 2h30min and it includes 1h30min of practice in the ocean.
